Shipping policy

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Made to order

Every SAIBŌ work is fabricated individually in the studio in Vienna after order confirmation. Typical production time is 4–6 weeks. Shipping follows once the work is complete.

Shipping zones and rates

Within Austria:
- Shelves and wall objects: EUR 10
- Coffee tables and works over 15 kg: shipped by furniture forwarder, EUR 90

Within the European Union:
- Shelves and wall objects: EUR 35 
- Coffee tables and works over 15 kg: shipped by furniture forwarder, from EUR 180 (rate varies by destination)

United Kingdom and Switzerland:
- Shelves and wall objects: EUR 65
- Coffee tables: quoted individually on request

Outside Europe (USA, Asia, other countries):
- Shipping on request. Please contact studio@saibo.at for an individual quote.
- For coffee tables, we recommend dedicated furniture forwarders with white-glove service.

Delivery times after production

- Austria: 2–5 business days
- EU standard: 3–10 business days
- UK / Switzerland: 5–10 business days
- Outside the EU: 5–20 business days
- Coffee tables by furniture forwarder: individually scheduled

Packaging

Every work is packed by hand in the studio. 

Coffee tables and heavier works are shipped by dedicated furniture forwarder, fully insured in transit.

Customs and import duties

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, and other charges may apply. These costs are borne by the Customer. Please check with the competent authorities in your country before ordering to inform yourself of applicable charges.

Transit insurance

All works are fully insured against loss and damage in transit.

In case of transit damage

Please inspect the packaging externally for damage immediately upon delivery. Any visible damage must be reported to the carrier without delay and, if possible, noted on the delivery receipt.

Should you find damage on the work upon unpacking, please notify us within 48 hours by email at contact@saibostudio.com — ideally with photographs of the damage and packaging. We will arrange replacement or repair without delay.

Delivery delays

Despite careful planning, delays in production or shipping may occasionally occur. We will inform you without delay as soon as we are aware of any delay and communicate the new estimated delivery date.
